Hi, I'm Chelsie! A UI Designer based in Denver, CO. As an undergraduate, a curious mind led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. Something I always came back to in my studies was creating an artistic visualization. My desire to use color and texture to make my work beautiful led me to UI Design. Adapting my skills into something I can use for a career I love has been a great joy.

With a history in Hospitality and Education, I have spent long days and nights honing in on the skills that make you a better person and team member. Hard work and efficiency are two things I will carry with me long after my days working in restaurants are through, just as empathy and shared curiosity weren't left in the classroom. There is more overlap between hospitality and education than you would think, but if there is only one thing that both industries teach you, it is putting people first- Much like UI Design. In this career change, I aim to work for a company that focuses on inclusivity and accessibility, with a team of other designers with whom I can collaborate and learn.
