Proficiency in balance sheet preparation, income statements, and other financial reports
General ledger reconciliation
Analyzes accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department
Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
Responsible for adherence to all Company policies, procedures, processes and guidelines to ensure compliance
Preparation of accurate and complete Rebill Reconciliations by the 4th business day of the following month, and resolution of all reconciling items with the applicable personnel
Review of all vendor statement reconciliations as prepared by the AP and Treasury Supervisor by the 4th business day of the following month
Review of all Peachtree bank reconciliations (US, Trinidad and Suriname) as prepared by the AP and Treasury Supervisor by the 4th business day of the following month
Preparation of the bank reconciliations (US, Barabados and Guyana) by the 3rd business day of the following month
Timely and accurate data entry of all transactions for the US, Barbados and Guyana
Preparation and submission of the weekly management report by 1:00pm every Thursday
To assist internal and external auditors during audit process by providing documents, reports and other payroll-related reports upon request. Implements procedural changes recommended by auditors
Responsible for the accuracy of financial records
Filing of documents in line with the Company’s Record Control Procedures
Adherence to proper housekeeping and keeping workstation clean and free from clutter
Active participation in the Company’s ISO initiative
To be a Quality Champion, Compliance Champion, Safety Champion and a member of the Process Improvement Team within the organization
Any other applicable duties as assigned by the Finance Controller / Finance Director
