As a Base24 Developer at PromptNow, your role is pivotal in architecting, crafting, and upholding the Base24 application to guarantee the uninterrupted flow of financial transaction processing. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with our technology and development teams to engineer dependable and efficient solutions that propel our suite of financial services.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Base24 Development: Develop, configure, and customize Base24 applications to meet the specific requirements of the company's financial systems.
• System Integration: Integrate Base24 with other financial systems, applications, and databases to ensure data consistency and transaction processing accuracy.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Monitor, identify, and resolve issues related to the Base24 application, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient incident management.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize the performance of the Base24 system, including monitoring transaction processing speed and system resource usage.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that the Base24 system complies with industry regulations, security standards, and best practices, such as PCI DSS, and implement necessary security measures.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation related to Base24 configurations, procedures, and system changes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and operations personnel to address system-related challenges and provide support for system testing and deployment.
• Upgrades: Stay up-to-date with Base24 updates, patches, and new features, and manage system upgrades as needed.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools to oversee system performance, ensuring efficient transaction processing and minimizing disruptions.
• Emergency Response: Be available for on-call support to address critical issues and incidents outside of regular working hours.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in Base24 development and support in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of financial transaction processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting (e.g., TAL, C, C++, Java).
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of switching systems such as Base24 classic, Base24 eps, IST or Postilion.
• Experience with system integration and interfacing with other financial applications.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulatory compliance in the financial industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide on-call support when necessary.
