We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain the solution. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems for our clients. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask effectively. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of various technologies including LAN and Windows Server.
Duties
Respond to incoming help desk tickets and calls.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Provide technical support for users via phone, email, or remote access.
Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize tickting system for tracking incidents and service requests.
Implement Group Policy Objects (GPO) to manage user permissions and settings.
Assist in the deployment of Windows Server environments.
Configure and troubleshoot VPN connections for remote users.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities and resolutions.
Qualifications
Proficient in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Experience with LAN configurations and management.
Familiarity with software deployment and patch management.
Knowledge of Windows Server administration is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
