Hi, there -
Having reviewed your organization and some of the approaches, I find a kindredness in your unconventionality. I too am of the unconventional sort, something I'm sure you will grok simply by reading my resume, or this prolonged introduction. We few who transcend convention tend to be drawn together. Something larger at work, perhaps. Or, maybe, like likes like.
Anyhoo, I'm from Columbia, SC - live here still. I graduated high school in '05 and wandered the Odyssey of post grade school in and out of college and odd jobs for about a decade, never quite landing anywhere that satiated the heart and mind fully. To speak in literary terms, I longed for my own Ithaca. I worked manual labor jobs - the body attrition of construction, and the soul atrophy of Food & Beverage (I am not condescending these occupations, they are good work and provide for a lot of livelihoods; in fact, I am currently working as a carpenter for a local contractor. Essentially, I am just not one who is built to careerize these vocations) - hopping the archipelago of work site to campus site amid a sea of capricious tides. I was able to complete a degree in English Literature in 2017. I run a blog/portfolio online as I seek, still, Ithaca. I suppose, much like Tennyson's "Ulysses", maybe even upon arrival, by hearth of home and a great fire, I will still be filled with a longing to venture, to move, to learn, see, and experience anew. Maybe R.L. Stevenson is right in that "little do ye know your own blessedness; for to travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive, and the true success is to labour." Alas, it doesn't always feel that way.
I suppose you are wondering how all of this qualifies me for this work, well, I don't know if it does. However, I am a mobile person -intellectually and creatively- an expert communicator, an organized and competent, task-oriented individual who has a keen eye for the aesthetic as well as the functional. Form follows order. One could say it flows from it, as does functionality.
I don't know precisely where I see myself in 3-to-5-to-10 years, but in my travels through the geography of mind, heart, spirit, as well as collegiate, professional, and personal topographies, I have synthesized that it doesn't matter where you see yourself in the future, for that is subject to change. It's what you see yourself doing that matters. The where is irrelevant. And what I see myself doing is aiding in bringing us unconventional types together, productively, to better the world, whatever that means. To facilitate some collaboration for those who have found their own Ithaca, and those who are still sailing towards the horizon, ever challenging and negotiating with the gods.
I hope this message finds you all and finds you well. Thank you for taking the time to consider me and my little tale.

Ps. My favorite animal is the Snow Leopard. I find it beautiful. And I don't precisely know why, but I feel akin to it. I am also unsure as to why I am disclosing that bit of information.
