I have taught graphic design and illustration at the college level for the past 16-years. While my tenure in academia has been gratifying, I am now seeking a remote or local/hybrid position where I can make greater use of my creativity and conceptual problem solving.
Prior to my time in higher education, I worked for 20-years as a graphic designer, art director, web developer, and illustrator. With up-to-date technical expertise in graphics, illustration, photography, for print, web, and video,
I also have excellent verbal and written communication skills. As a mentor I foster belonging in a diverse community. Serving on various committees, advisory boards, and as a manager, I cultivate cooperation and collaboration. Online teaching has made me capable and disciplined in remote work. I work quickly under deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ready to take on new challenges, my experience would make me an asset to a dynamic team.
