A highly skilled linguist and localization engineer, fluent in three languages, Arabic, English and French. Chakir has an experience in approaching text and speech data from different angles, linguistic, cultural and psychological. Chakir has previously worked as a linguist and translator in healthcare, defense before moving to artificial intelligence.
Chakir was a Phd researcher in language acquisition at the laboratory of European languages (CRIT). He holds an MPhil in comparative literature from the University of Franche-Comte, France and a Bachelor degree in Stylistics and Cultural Studies from the university of Humanities, Fez-Sais.
Industrial experience at Samsung R&D Institute UK includes developing speech and language applications for next-generation Samsung devices to enhance their capabilities. Today, Chakir is working as a computational linguist, helping businesses with language challenges in multilingual applications.
