Chakir has an experience in approaching text and speech data from different angles, linguistic, cultural and psychological. Chakir has previously worked as a linguist and translator in healthcare, defense before moving to artificial intelligence.
Chakir was a Phd researcher in language acquisition at the laboratory of European languages (CRIT). He holds an MPhil in comparative literature from the University of Franche-Comte, France and a Bachelor degree in Stylistics and Cultural Studies from the university of Humanities, Fez-Sais.
Industrial experience at Samsung R&D Institute UK includes developing speech and language applications for next-generation Samsung devices to enhance their capabilities. Today, Chakir is working as a computational linguist, helping businesses with language challenges in multilingual applications.
