As an individual always aiming for the best, I value my ambition, curiosity, creative thinking, attention to detail and problem solving skills. I am always striving for new opportunities and improvement. This allowed me to encourage idea sharing and approaching talented and experienced resources to learn and improve in the finance and strategic thinking. Currently, I have 2 years of experience in finance. I am proud to say that I have had the opportunity to work for one the most popular companies in the world that allowed me to work within a diverse culture and with highly skilled employees. I have been exposed to great opportunities and training from experienced co-workers. Throughout my career journal I have been exposed to and learnt that I have a passion for finance, including investment strategies, cost accounting, variance analysis, benchmarking, strategic thinking, budgeting, financial reporting, investment opportunities ( CAPEX) and overhead analysis, just to name a few. However, this made me curious to explore more areas in the finance industry. I have decided to complete my CIMA qualification in 2023 as I am passionate about what I do. I have been part of strategic projects that allowed me to gain experience on performance efficiency and improvement. This allowed me to work with different departments, built good professional relationships ( with internal and external parties) and learn more about a business model and how each department contributes to business success. I have learnt how important it is to always ask questions and curiosity is key for success. . I have still a lot learn and will always have that mind set throughout my career, as there is always something to learn. I am excited to learn as much as possible and will always value my positive, curious and ambitious attitude as it has led me to great opportunities and allowed me to go above and beyond my comfort zone to learn as much as possible.
