My name is Patrick Chidubem Emmanuel, and I currently hold a Bachelors degree in Banking and finance from the university of Abuja.
Over the years, I have built up lots of skills and experience that I believe will be of benefit to your organization.
Immediately after my graduation I started my career as a Financial Advisor Intern for an Insurance Company ARM life now known as Tangerine, for a period of 3months,
I also serve as a Customer service officer intern for Jumia Nigeria from August 2019 - January 2020.
Haven worked with a team of sales and customer service representatives, Where we all go out to prospect and engage clients on benefits of partnership, I managed client on the basis for better service delivery, and escalate customers complaint to appropriate teams using SalesForce.
During my intern with Tangerine, I was able to make about 3.6m Naira worth of sale in my 1st month.
This increased the firms profitability by 20% that month and 40% increase subsequently.
In Jumia Nigeria I increased customer’s satisfaction to a 90% rating over a period of 12weeks. I was celebrated appropriately during my appraisal With an offer of promotion to the position of a Team-lead and an extension to my contract.
In 2020 I worked as a Financial Transaction Officer at FirstBank Nigeria PLC, over the period of 1year and 6 months, charged with the duties of processing customers transactions and initiating drafts, I understood the need of customers to better serve them, and I adhered to due diligence while processing customers instruction.
These experience gained over the years, made me realize how valuable I could be to myself and the world at large. With the urge to learn and develop on the search to remain relevant, I transited to the tech space, where I believed I could be more innovative while proffering solution to world problems.
I started by self-tutoring with a course on Udemy, where I learnt the basis Of web development. ThereAfter I proceeded to Decagon.
In Decagon I was trained as a JAVA developer with skills in Springboot, API integration, data base management system such as MYSQL and postgreSQL, experience in various Agile methodologies like Test Driven Development (TDD) and so many others.
I also Collaborate with various teams to design, develop and implement software applications for websites, based on analyzed requirements and understanding of industry technical standards.
I was shortlisted to pitch my innovative idea(114 - play) on issues relating to the Educational sector, in a tech conference hosted by the executive governor of Edo state, his Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki while in Decagon.
114 play is a game-based learning platform that provides free learning services to individuals as a way to bridge the gap to increase student retention and comprehension for better understanding with an increased passion for learning.
At the end of the Hackerthon section I and my team members won the grand prize of 3million Naira for the pitch.
This goes to show that I am goal oriented, innovative, resourceful, a good team player and an added advantage to your Organization.
