Constancy Prisca ALERU is a Lecturer with over 5 years experience in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She is a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Medical Microbiologist. Constancy Prisca ALERU received her Undergraduate degree at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences was obtained at the University of Westminster, London and she was temporarily employed in the same university immediately after her Master's degree as a Visiting Researcher. Apart from her interest in research and medical sciences, she is known for her love for English Language. She did an Intensive English program at EF International Language Centres Cambridge, before she went for her Master's program in Central London. Constancy Prisca ALERU achieved her PhD in the field of Medical Microbiology at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her research activity is focused on Medical Microbiology, Medical Bacteriology, Environmental Microbiology, Medical Mycology, Medical Parasitology, Medical Virology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Molecular Biology. She is author and co-author of over 20 scientific papers in international scientific journals and she has supervised many Undergraduate and some Postgraduate students. She is a member of the Association of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (RA: 13421), American Society for Microbiology: Washington (ID: 200213286), Nigerian Bioinformatics and Genomics Network (NGBN) (Membership No: NBGNI1589), Nigerian Society for Microbiology (NO:NSM/20/179), Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (ID: 10882), Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (67106764) and International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID). Constancy Prisca ALERU is also an Associate Editor of the DOAJ and a Reviewer of the Algerian Journal of Natural Products (AJNP).
