I hold a Bachelor of Specific Education in Computer Science from Mansoura University and have over 10 years of experience as a DTP specialist and graphic designer on a freelance basis. In my role, I am responsible for managing the production of desktop publishing projects using various applications such as InDesign, Quark, and more. I create layouts and designs for various types of publications including books, brochures, flyers, and manuals, and format post-translation files, graphics, and images. I collaborate with editors, translators, and other members of the design and production team and coordinate with printers, publishers, and vendors to ensure that the final product meets necessary specifications and standards.
I also have experience in the translation & localization industry. I worked as a project manager in one of leading translation companies in Egypt. In addition to DTP & typesetting, I also provide services such as graphic design, OCR service, motion graphic videos, video editing, transcreation, and project management. I am proficient in CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Memsource, DejaVu, Wordfast, SmartCat, XTM and any other instructed tool. My work as a project manager includes setting up, managing, and running the full cycle of translation, proofreading, and MTPE projects. I also have experience in running QA processes using Xbench reports. I am highly alerted to emails around the clock.
