I am Fikile, a passionate Human Resources professional. I possess a Bachelor of Psychology Hons. (Cum Laude) obtained from Pearson Institute of Higher Education. In my 4,5 years of working experience as a Human Resources Generalist, I have diligently fulfilled my duty in a number of HR functions such as Recruitment and Selection, Employee engagement, Performance management, Employee Relations and all the run of the mill administration that comes with them. I also have experience driving company projects towards the betterment of company culture. HR Generalist Support: • Ensure the application and enforcement of policies and procedures throughout the allocated Business Units • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance • Provide appropriate communication means and forums for Line managers and Colleagues • Ensure that there is consistency in the processing of HR documents in line with ISO standards Employee Relations: • Resolve Employee Relations Issues and address grievances in accordance with the company Disciplinary Code • Attend Disciplinary Hearings and ensure the Chairperson’s recommendations are considered and implemented accordingly Training and Development: • Assess training needs/gaps and roll out Training and Development solutions that meet the employee needs • Liaise closely with employees on different service packages that reflect general training elements, systems-based training/studies, online courses, self-study/research, coaching solutions, etc. Leave Management and Payroll: • Adding new employees to the self-service system monthly • Troubleshooting and addressing leave queries on the ESS system • Absenteeism Management • Submit report of monthly payroll changes to Finance Organisation Structure: • Apply a structured methodology and lead activities related to updating the organisation structure • Support Line Managers in the adoption of the organisation structural changes required by various company projects or initiatives Performance Management: • Facilitate Performance Reviews • Submit report of Performance Review outcomes • Implement Individual Development Plans throughout allocated Business Units • Provide support to Line Managers regarding employees on Performance Improvement Plans due to poor performance Recruitment and Onboarding: • Conducting the full recruitment process from start to end • Ensure that vacancies are filled timeously • Onboarding of new employees
