I have 10+ years of experience working in various fields in the Software Development industry where I have gained extensive knowledge of QA methodology and tools. I have been trained in manual testing methods (GUI, Black Box, Integration, Functional, Smoke, End-to-End and Regression to name a few), and I have a strong understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of software quality assurance testing. I know how vital it is to the success of the company to ensure that all products are 100 percent ready for consumer use before releasing them to the market. My background includes outstanding experience working with developers, requirement analysis, running manual tests, writing reports, and updating databases to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure compliance with regulations. My unique background allows for me to not only have a clear understanding of the details but also the big picture.
I am coming off sabbatical after a very intense, completely immersive, but satisfying position as Assistant Director for Technical Operations for a national non-profit. I was called a “swiss army knife” of various specialties who flourished when presented with unexpected challenges and took initiative to identify necessary needs and build solutions. While I had many responsibilities, I found myself enjoying the Quality Assurance process the most. There was a deep level of satisfaction and enjoyment I got from testing, problem solving, working with the amazing development team, and making sure that the end user always had a positive experience. I am very proud of what I accomplished individually and as part of an amazing team. However, when my boss retired, it was time to move on to pursue the training necessary to evolve into the next, more focused, phase of my career. I am excited and look forward to this opportunity for growth, creative challenges, and success with a company doing the thing I loved to do the most: QA.

I have software testing experience, a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, and a proven track record of meeting aggressive project goals. I have superior knowledge of PC and Mac platforms as well as Android OS, Linux and advanced knowledge of many additional programs and web-based solutions (to name a few: Android Studio, Xcode, ADB, UNIX, BrowserStack, TestFlight, Chrome DevTools, Test Rail, Jira and many more).
