About

Before I ventured into the world of freelancing, I had worked for ten years in the public administration in the area of 1st level support and project management. In this exciting job, I was allowed to advise colleagues on exciting questions in the area of website content, keywords and SEO, translations but also offline, on office applications. Proofreading and quality assurance of the reports was also part of my daily business. The collaboration and/or responsibility for smaller and larger projects - especially, but not only, in the area of IT or the restructuring of the website - provided a lot of variety and pleasure. One of my main tasks is the management of the website, which is also a great passion in my private life. The two contents could not be more different. And last but not least: I am an illustrator and digital artist. I did the art alongside my job for about 15 years. Now I do it as part of my freelance life in balance with the above functions and tasks. I am open to new ideas, creations, projects and collaborations. Let me know where I can help you. I have experience in the translation industry since 2017. I have also worked for the government of St.Gallen (Switzerland) since 2013. In addition to proofreading and quality assurance of supervisory reports, I also translate citizens' written applications from English into German. Besides translating, proofreading is part of my daily work. Be it supervisory reports, decrees, statements of the public administration or circulars. Quality comes first. As a hobby and sideline, I create websites and shops, design their appearance and provide my clients with keyword-optimised content.
