My name is Laxman Kumar and currently, I am pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engg from IIT Bombay. I come from a village called Bamanwara in the Jalore district of Rajasthan and my father is a farmer and my mother is a housewife. I have 4 siblings. I am the first IITian from my district. I developed an interest in Data science when I did my internship at IIT BHU where we implemented a heart failure prediction model using machine learning & programming. I am very interested in the data science field and want to learn from industry experts.
I gained organizational experience working as a coordinator in Mood Indigo, TechFest, and Abhyuday of IITB
Naturally, from a very young age, I have been interested in sports which helped me in developing leadership skills and Teamwork., I am a long-distance runner. I even won an institute-level silver medal in crossy.
In addition, I love to be involved in other outdoor activities and I was a part of the Institute NSO Athletics Team in my 1st year
I like to wander on my farm and I love exploring nature.
