15 years of experience in business development in various counties in Kenya. Currently employed by SHED Kenya, a non-governmental organization based in Kajiado, Kenya.
Previously, I worked for a number of Kenyan government state agencies, including the Commodities Fund, the Coffee Development Fund, and the Agriculture Finance Corporation, stationed in several counties in Kenya.
Skills
I have a Master's degree in project planning and management from the University of Nairobi. A bachelor's degree in marketing from Kabarak University, and a diploma in marketing management from the Railway Training Institute I have attended several trainings in resource mobilization, process mapping, credit management, and agriculture value chain development.
Career highlights
Currently, I am the project manager of The Programme SHED supervising 17 direct reports; we are in the process of putting up policies, structures, and procedures in the organization. I have also coordinated the roll-out of the regional offices at the Commodities Fund and managed the establishment of the Kericho Regional Office. We further increased the loan book by over 250% in a period of three years.
