My name is Luciano Lombardi, I am a professional journalist, a content strategist (advanced use of content intelligence tools), a communications, marketing and media expert and an editorial staff coordinator and creator of new digital projects.
Currently I am the Publisher and the Communications, Media & Content Strategist of AutoMoto Network (moto.it, automoto.it) for which I manage all the activities of editorial coordination and production, distribution and optimization of contents.
My mission here:
- make the two properties more authoritative towards investors and stakeholders
- increase the presence of relavant news, both in the sector and outside the sector, and generalist
- improve production
- Increase content performance both in terms ov views and for unique users.
To achieve these goals, I developed an editorial/analytical development plan based on these points:
- improve the governance of editorial staff and their daily work routine
- activate a series of processes for the content selection phase, with a combination of journalistic criteria and content intelligence tools and data driven journalism aimed at better intercepting interesting content for the reader and algorithms
- introduce and train the editorial staff on the content care mechanisms and ensure timely compliance
- identification and creation of content driven by traffic for the medium and long term.
The results: one year after the application of the plan, the production of content has more than doubled, and the traffic on them has even increased by over 300%.
I was also the creator of the initiatives for the production of live video content (Talk on YouTube and Facebook, IG direct), as well as the person in charge of daily programming.
I am then involved in the company's board of directors for the definition of its strategic guidelines. And, in particular, I am dealing - personally - with the development of a series of new mechanisms for the introduction of the Pay and Premium models.

At the end of 2018, after 12 years,I've left my role of Deputy Chief Editor at Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, where I've managed a lot different editorial teams' daily routine, in the female sector (donnamoderna.com, grazia.it, starbene.it, cosmopolitan.it), hi-tech and digital culture (mytech.it) and generalist (panorama.it).
Moreover, because I like human affairs and I am attracted by the social phenomena change, I write with passion more or less regularly, for all the channels of the site, mainly technology and digital culture, economy and worldwide themes.
Also, I’ve started-up and coordinating new digital projects, and developing strategies in different areas of the media and communications context.
The last one has been www.motofestival.it, the first digital exhibition dedicated to motorcycles, of which I was the creator, responsible for the start-up and editorial and creative production
Furthermore, I contributed to the creation of the media event Panorama d'Italia and, since its first edition, I have been responsible for the production of the textual and video contents.
In the last 24 months I have also developed a co-authoring project for the web that allows to increase in an unprecedented way in the rate of use and interaction with the contents.
In addition, I own the necessary skills to create quality video footage, from directing to shooting and editing.
I currently operate under a VAT number but I am also available to evaluate any other type of contractual formula.
