Panchabhuta Conservation Foundation(PCF) works on research, advocacy and conservation of natural resources & community centric sustainable development by providing opportunities to local entrepreneurs for creating green enterprises in Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka, India. PCF also functions as a Permaculture exemplar for farm to table retreat to inspire and upskill local homestay entrepreneurs. The first Retreat will be open to public in Dec 2020.
PCF aspires to provide livelihood & micro entrepreneurship opportunities to local artisans by aggregating, packaging & branding artisnal food ingredients for urban markets. In pursuit of this PCF is working with India's leading Agri bank NABARD to carry out training/upskilling programmes to local communities.
PCF is also working on socializing biodiversity regulations in India so that commercialization of biological diversity can be sustainable, fair and equitable sharing of the benefits.
