Born and raised in the north zone of Rio de Janeiro,
the visual artist Beto Fame is a muralist and architect
graduated from FAU UFRJ.
His career begins in 2003 when he began to make his
first murals on the streets of the city, in 2012 he
started college of architecture and urbanism where he
develops a critical eye on urban space and its characteristics, immediately transposes his thoughts to his
art and merges the two worlds.
His artwork approaches the city as a living organism
that reveals itself in different ways and through different points of view.
Deconstructing his gaze from the pictorial and bringing his own approach to urban space, Beto addresses cutouts, desires, and symbols of daily city life.
