Spanish Translator and Sticker Cataloging Assistant
I translated and described Spanish political stickers for St. Lawrence University's Brush Art Gallery so that they could be included in a large digital collection. In addition to translating the text on the stickers from Spanish to English, I also researched and succinctly described related Spanish political movements to contextualize political stickers.

I translated promotional materials and academic articles on immigration from Spanish to English for UCR's Institute for Social Research. The articles I translated include "Demands and Expectations of Young Residents of Impoverished Neighborhoods in Central America" by Francisco García and "Why has migration become the banner of the right? Considerations for progressive politics" by Carlos Sandoval García.

I worked one-on-one with students enrolled in St. Lawrence University's Peer Tutor Program to identify areas of limited understanding and increase comprehension. Through interactive activities, I helped struggling students improve their Spanish speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. I also facilitated independent learning through the development of effective study habits.
