OPerates complex workstations of a large fuel distribution system (FDS). Receives and transfers fuel by coupling and uncoupling hoses, monitoring gauges, meters and filter separators. Dispense petroleum products into various aircraft; hot and cold refuel quality surveillance. Directs loading and unloading of fuel tanker trucks, and internal/external pipelines. Inspects systems for leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and inoperative components such as distribution lines, storage tanks, hydrant pits/outlets, oil/water separator, pumps, automatic/manual valves, meters, and system control rooms. Maintains hazardous waste management program. Initiates emergency procedures as necessary. Gathers product samples from receiving storage equipment and prepares them for hazardous transport to the Fuel Laboratory. Performs pre-quality control testing prior to fuel shipments. Directs lockout/tag out program during maintenance operations. Maintains quality control and fuel accountability reports in the Fuels Manager Database. Documents all sampling, sample due dates, and the status of all equipment in the Fuels Automated System. Plans, monitors and conducts On-The-Job Training (OJT), for assigned Fuels Management Flight personnel. Uses and assures proper fit of required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Which formed part of the Multi National Forces in camp Basra in IRAQ (MNSF) and campBASRAH in IRAQ and NATO& ISAF camp KANDHAHAR in AFGHANISTHAN[kandhahar air field] in AFGHANISTAN. Key areas of responsibilities included the Receipt, Issue, Testing and safe storage of bulk and packed petroleum, oil's and lubricants and industrial gases.
